This property was situated on the coast, directly across the road from the beach.
The original roof had terracotta tiles on it and they where in very poor condition, holes from erosion everywhere causing leaks.
This client did there research and came across the Barrington Slate tiles, they look just like real slate and even pass the Heritage guidelines in Australia.
The amazing catch is that they are made from high tensile plastic (fibre glass and resin), the same stuff used in the aerospace industry.
They are very durable and thrive in coastal areas, handling the salt air like true warriors.
