The Constraint
An apartment block near the bay where the terracotta came apart as it was lifted, on a site a bin truck could not enter.

The Call
Full replacement, because there was nothing sound left to repair to, and shuttle the waste out by truck for the length of the job.

The Constraint
A hundred-year-old tiled roof with failed battens and underlayers, and an owner who did not want the original tiles going to landfill.

The Call
Lift and store every tile, rebuild everything beneath, then reinstate the originals at a 72% survival rate rather than supplying new.

The Constraint
An owner rebuilding as a dual occupancy who wanted the original Evans Brothers terracotta on the new house, with the tiles in storage for three years in between.

The Call
Salvage rather than supply, at a 78% survival rate, then reinstall over heavy-duty sarking with every tile cut, wired or clipped.

This completed refurbishment included chimneys, timber, painting and metal. What we truly enjoy is that this is all orchestrated in house from ground up, safety items and trusted outside trades included.

The Constraint
A 1912 Federation home needing full slate renewal that had to preserve a protected street frontage while tying into a modern extension behind it.

The Call
Detail the junction so the two structures move independently rather than making the slate carry the load, leaving no visible seam between old and new.
